Prior to launching the first private digital sales network in the UK, Richard worked in the magazine world in both contract and consumer, moving from advertising sales through to publisher.

He was co-owner and founder of New Media Marketing and Sales in 1996. A year later he established the organisation that is now know as the IAB UK. He subsequently sold NMMS to AdLINK group in 2001. He steered AdLINK UK to market leader, and then launched the Pan European performance network Response Republic.

Two years ago he left the group to develop a small consultancy business that has undertaken a variety of roles for UK and European firms. These include Email delivery; Behavioural targeting, Interactive TV, and lead generation.

The move into senior search is born out of personal experiences in sourcing senior professionals in this fast moving environment. Too often he has seen employers rushing a decision because of lack of preparation and planning as to the attributes required within a role twelve months hence. The employee is moving out of flattery or perceived higher income, rather than understanding what that business will offer them further down the line.

DT intends to provide the time to ensure the thinking and planning from both parties is as thorough as these senior appointments merit.

Through the last eight years in the digital media environment Richard has established a thorough understanding of the needs of today's businesses, plus an enviable contact list.
